Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovi\u0107 said today that the situation in the Ma\u010dva and Kolubara districts is stable, but that the situation in the country regarding the severe weather, when speaking about the territory of Serbia as a whole, is significantly worse compared to the data with which the night ended, and that this concerns other districts\u2014the Zlatibor and Moravica districts and, to a lesser extent, the Rasina District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She said that there is a major failure on a power transmission line in Ivanjica, which workers of Elektromre\u017ea Srbije and Elektrodistribucija Srbije located throughout the night and found early this morning, and that its repair is currently underway. She emphasized that 100 percent of the failures on transmission lines were caused by falling trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the session of the City Emergency Situations Headquarters of Loznica, which she chaired, Mesarovi\u0107 told RTS that she is proud that the situation in the Ma\u010dva and Kolubara districts is stable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am particularly proud of that, bearing in mind that in the previous days we invested superhuman efforts\u2014employees in power distribution, EMS, and private companies that are helping us day and night, risking their lives\u2014to eliminate failures. I am truly proud of the enormous results we have achieved in recent days so that all failures have been repaired when it comes to these two districts, and I can say with complete confidence that the situation here is stable, of course with some minor outages that are resolved on the ground within half an hour to an hour,\u201d Mesarovi\u0107 emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
