{"id":197839,"date":"2026-01-11T01:11:12","date_gmt":"2026-01-10T23:11:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/?p=197839"},"modified":"2026-01-11T01:11:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-10T23:11:13","slug":"judges-and-prosecutors-demand-his-removal-minister-of-justice-appeared-on-a-show-with-a-convicted-murderer-while-failing-to-resolve-problems-in-the-judiciary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/judges-and-prosecutors-demand-his-removal-minister-of-justice-appeared-on-a-show-with-a-convicted-murderer-while-failing-to-resolve-problems-in-the-judiciary\/","title":{"rendered":"JUDGES AND PROSECUTORS DEMAND HIS REMOVAL: Minister of Justice Appeared on a Show With a Convicted Murderer, While Failing to Resolve Problems in the Judiciary!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The informal group of judges and prosecutors \u201cDefense of the Profession\u201d has demanded that Minister of Justice Nenad Vuji\u0107 resign, because he is not fulfilling his duties, \u201cbut instead acts in an interest-driven, selective, and unprofessional manner, to the detriment of the judicial system and the rule of law.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its request, this informal group listed a number of situations in which he failed to react; to demands from the public, statements by President of the state Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, inadmissible media publications, and other cases, but that he \u201chad time and considered it appropriate to participate in a Christmas \u2018celebration\u2019 on the television station \u2018Informer,\u2019 even though the owner of that media outlet, Dragan J. Vu\u010di\u0107evi\u0107, is a party to numerous court proceedings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also stated that \u201camong the guests were individuals who are former convicts for the most serious criminal offenses or suspects of serious abuses of official position, which justifiably raises the question of whether the Minister of Justice is in a conflict of interest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-serbiantimes-info wp-block-embed-serbiantimes-info\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"s6terlo13i\"><a href=\"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/tramp-o-grenlandu-ako-ne-resimo-to-na-laksi-nacin-uradicemo-na-tezi\/\">TRAMP O GRENLANDU: &#8222;Ako ne re\u0161imo to na lak\u0161i na\u010din, uradi\u0107emo na te\u017ei!&#8220;<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#132;TRAMP O GRENLANDU: &#8222;Ako ne re\u0161imo to na lak\u0161i na\u010din, uradi\u0107emo na te\u017ei!&#8220;&#147; &#8212; Serbiantimes.info\" src=\"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/tramp-o-grenlandu-ako-ne-resimo-to-na-laksi-nacin-uradicemo-na-tezi\/embed\/#?secret=5PK9bOBl3J#?secret=s6terlo13i\" data-secret=\"s6terlo13i\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the cases in which he failed to react, they cited \u201cabsolutely inadmissible media publications and reports in which journalists and employees of certain media outlets, among whom employees of the daily newspaper and television \u2018Informer\u2019 were particularly prominent, inappropriately commented on court decisions, attributed street slang terms to holders of judicial office, and often published data from their private lives, including phone numbers and photographs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe did not respond to numerous, justified requests from the professional and broader public to state and explain the reasons for which he initiated the procedure of pardoning from criminal prosecution, on the basis of which the President of the Republic, derogating judicial authority, pardoned individuals against whom criminal proceedings were at that moment being conducted before the Basic Court in Novi Sad for causing serious bodily injury to a female student, as well as Milica Stojanovi\u0107, who struck a female student with a vehicle during peaceful protests,\u201d the request states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also failed to react regarding \u201cnumerous and continuous statements by the highest representatives of the executive \u0432\u043b\u0430\u0441\u0442\u0438, especially the President of the Republic, the former prime minister, and certain ministers, by which judges and prosecutors are labeled as \u2018foreign mercenaries,\u2019 \u2018a renegade part of the judiciary that has broken away from the executive authority,\u2019 \u2018traitors,\u2019 and \u2018unpatriotic,\u2019 thereby grossly undermining public trust in the judicial system.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nor did he react when \u201cthe car of the prosecutor of the Basic Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office in Subotica, Aleksandra Stojisavljevi\u0107, was set on fire in front of her place of residence; when representatives of the \u2018Informer\u2019 editorial office waited in front of the workplace of Judge of the First Basic Court in Belgrade Tatjana Bezmarevi\u0107 Janji\u0107 because of a decision they did not like;
