For the crimes in Kravica, no one has been held accountable to this day, nor for other crimes committed against Serbs in middle Podrinje. Naser Orić was acquitted of charges both in The Hague and in the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On Christmas Day, January 7, 1993, more than three thousand members of the Muslim forces from Srebrenica raided the village of Kravica, which was defended by no more than 300 people. They killed 49 residents; the oldest victim was 84 years old.

Rada Nikolić says that everything was burned and everyone was killed.

690 houses were burned, the church was demolished, and cemeteries were dug up. Those who survived were the ones who managed to break through the snowdrifts toward the Drina and find salvation in Serbia. The scale of the crime is illustrated by the fact that on that Christmas, 101 children from Kravica were left without one or both parents.

„Božić Mara, an immobile elderly woman, was abused and then set on fire in a house in Mratinci.
