(VIDEO)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Sa\u0161a Borisov, a citizen of Bela Crkva, was physically attacked by the President of the Municipal Assembly of Bela Crkva, Marjan Aleksi\u0107, and members of his family, according to claims made to N1 by his daughter, Stefana Borisov.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to her account, Borisov was in his car today passing by a caf\u00e9 owned by Marjan Aleksi\u0107. Seeing him in front of the establishment, Borisov shouted that he held Aleksi\u0107 responsible for the fact that his employment contract at <strong>Po\u0161tanska \u0161tedionica<\/strong> (Postal Savings Bank) was not renewed. The family claims that Borisov lost his job specifically because of his participation in student and civic protests, where he was also engaged as a marshal (<em>redar<\/em>), and had faced serious pressure as a result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Attack in Front of the Police Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Following that remark, Borisov\u2019s daughter claims that Marjan Aleksi\u0107\u2019s sons ran out of the caf\u00e9 and began hitting Borisov\u2019s car. Borisov then drove toward the nearest police station, but Aleksi\u0107 and his sons reportedly followed him in another vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon arriving in front of the police building, Borisov was allegedly pulled out of his car and physically assaulted. Police then intervened, but according to the family, <strong>Marjan Aleksi\u0107 was not detained.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sa\u0161a Borisov gave a statement to the police and is currently undergoing a medical examination.
