Doctors pointed out that a large portion of the cases were linked to alcohol consumption.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most severe incident involved the admission of a <strong>two-year-old child<\/strong> to the intensive care unit with a gunshot wound to the head. The child&#8217;s identity and the circumstances of the injury have not yet been officially confirmed, according to Macedonian media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The child is in critical condition, as is a 30-year-old man who was found after falling from a height in the <strong>Bunjakovec<\/strong> area; he underwent immediate emergency spinal surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The case was confirmed by the Minister of Internal Affairs of North Macedonia, <strong>Pan\u010de To\u0161kovski<\/strong>. &#8220;A two-year-old child was seriously injured and is in life-threatening condition. It involves a metal fragment, but at this moment, we cannot say with certainty exactly how the injury occurred,&#8221; he said at a press conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To\u0161kovski also stated that <strong>one person was killed<\/strong> and another seriously injured in an incident that took place in the <strong>Skopje Old Bazaar<\/strong> (<em>\u010car\u0161ija<\/em>).
