A total of 160 people were injured, 20 of whom were hurt by pyrotechnic devices, reports RTS.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the Emergency Center of the <strong>Military Medical Academy (VMA)<\/strong>, staff say they had their hands full last night with a high volume of calls and several cases of severe trauma\u2014most commonly caused by pyrotechnics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The chief surgeon on duty at the VMA, <strong>Prof. Dr. Bo\u0161ko Milev<\/strong>, stated that more than 160 injured persons were treated during the night. &#8220;What I would highlight are the more than 20 injuries sustained from explosive devices, such as firecrackers and &#8216;cannon shots&#8217; (<em>topovski udari<\/em>).
