The meat was fresh, of high quality, perhaps a bit less fatty than what we are used to, but who cares about that\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>See the VIDEO REPORT BELOW!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NA &quot;\u010cVARKIJADI&quot; U \u010cIKAGU RAKIJA ODAVALA TAJNE RECEPTE! And the fire was extinguished\u2014with firewater\u2014as the Indians who lived on these vast lands before us would say! Or in Serbian terms: with strong brandy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=476&#038;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F2114286155771032%2F&#038;show_text=false&#038;width=267&#038;t=0\" width=\"267\" height=\"476\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowFullScreen=\"true\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The masters used traditional recipes for &#8220;tobacco&#8221; cracklings, Vojvodina cracklings, with an occasional master secret that they wouldn&#8217;t reveal for the life of them! We shouldn&#8217;t even talk publicly about everything we do, but the important thing is that everything is legal. We get the pigs from the Amish, but the most important thing is that the tradition is respected, that is more important than the cracklings themselves. A small problem is that the Crackling Festival happens during the fast, but that is simply unavoidable, so before the start of today&#8217;s work, we prayed to God and crossed ourselves, and for the guests who are fasting, we provided appropriate food, says Selakovi\u0107 for Serbian Times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the many masters, a woman appeared at one point, a lady master, to perform the final check and issue the order for packing! Although the greatest chefs in the world are men, it is known who makes lunch every day and for whom it is not a profession, but a feeling of love and responsibility toward the family. And I perceive this place and these people from the Serbian Brotherly Help as my family, because when I came to America with my husband 7 years ago, these people took me in and let me live for free on their estate until we found our footing. We don&#8217;t live there anymore, but we always come when help is needed, as is the case today, at the Crackling Festival, emphasizes Branka Terzi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Crackling Festival fell during the time of the Christmas fast, so for those who stick to Orthodox customs, the organizers prepared fish and fasting cabbage.
