Svetislav Pe\u0161i\u0107, the legendary Serbian basketball expert, at 76 years old, has become the oldest coach who has ever led a team in the Euroleague.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The until-recently head coach of Serbia made his debut this Tuesday in a new mandate on the bench of Munich’s Bayern in the round 18 duel against Hapoel Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His experience and long-standing career, during which he won trophies across Europe, are now recorded in the history of the most prestigious club competition in European basketball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He did this at 76 years, three months, and 25 days old, thereby breaking the record of A\u00edto Garc\u00eda Reneses, who led Alba against Zvezda at 74 years, four months, and 19 days old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, the list also includes Du\u0161an Duda Ivkovi\u0107, who led Efes against Panathinaikos at 72 years, five months, and nine days, and Dragan \u0160akota, who led Zvezda at 67 years, eight months, and 20 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
