The Philological Society \u201cRe\u010di\u201d announced that its jury proclaimed the word \u201cstudents\u201d as the word of the year, \u201cstudents who want to study\u201d as the lie word of the year, and \u201c\u0107aci\u201d as the new word of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The society organized the selection of Serbian words for the third time in 2025, in three categories: word of the year, lie word of the year, and new word of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the category of word of the year, the shortlist included the words \u201c\u0107aci\u201d and \u201cstudents\u201d; in the category of new word, \u201c\u0107aci\u201d and \u201c\u0107acilend\u201d; and in the shortlist for lie word, \u201cstudents who want to study\u201d and \u201ccolored revolution,\u201d FoNet reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
