Bratislav Simovi\u0107 from Dveri was today first verbally and then physically attacked by Slobodan Jak\u0161i\u0107, a councillor from the Russian Party, which is part of the ruling coalition in \u010ca\u010dak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The session of the \u010ca\u010dak Assembly lasted for four consecutive days, and the reason was the adoption of the budget for 2026, N1 reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The daily gathering of citizens in front of the building, dissatisfied due to increases in utility service prices, appears to have spilled over among the councillors as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As can be seen in the video that Simovi\u0107 posted on his Facebook page, he approached Jak\u0161i\u0107 with a phone in his hand, who was sitting at a councillor\u2019s bench, and asked whether it was true that only he had been waited for more than an hour so that the Progressives would have a quorum for today\u2019s session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIs it true that there was no quorum for more than an hour just because of you?\u201d Simovi\u0107 asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGet away with that phone. What are you pretending to be, some kind of tough guy?\u201d Jak\u0161i\u0107 said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jak\u0161i\u0107 then asked Simovi\u0107 who he was to film him, and then stood up and moved toward him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho are you to take pictures of me? Why are you filming me? Get away, you scoundrel,\u201d the voice of this Russian Party councillor can be heard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Simovi\u0107 said in a telephone conversation with N1 that his approach to Jak\u0161i\u0107 was a reaction to his address at the assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to N1, Jak\u0161i\u0107 went to the police immediately after this incident and reported Simovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
