Blood-spattered tools that Brian Walshe allegedly, as suspected, used to cut up and dismember the body of his wife, Ana Walshe, were shown for the first time at his murder trial. Among them is a metal saw, tied to his chilling Google search \u201cbest tool for dismembering.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A metal saw (with blood on the handle), a hammer, hedge clippers, duct tape, and an axe were pulled from evidence bags for jurors in a Massachusetts courtroom on Friday \u2014 tools found in trash bins around Walshe\u2019s residential complex in Cohasset after his wife disappeared in January 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Included among them are tools that match a series of disturbing internet searches Walshe conducted after his wife vanished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA metal saw is the best tool for dismembering,\u201d read one search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCan you identify a body with broken teeth?\u201d read another, along with \u201cHow to stop a body from decomposing\u201d and \u201cHow long before a body starts to smell.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ana\u2019s body has never been found, and prosecutors claim Walshe used these tools to dismember it, then disposed of the parts in various dumpsters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Footage shown for the first time at the trial on Monday depicts Brian Walshe buying cleaning supplies between January 1 and 4, with one video showing him alongside his minor son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ana disappeared on January 1 after a New Year\u2019s celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second week of the trial of Brian Walshe for Ana\u2019s murder has begun, after he pleaded guilty to two lesser charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a reminder, Brian Walshe is accused of killing and dismembering his wife, Ana Walshe, in January 2023. Ana, originally from Serbia, was the mother of three children and a successful real estate agent working in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ana disappeared on New Year\u2019s Day, January 1, 2023, and was reported missing several days later. Her body has never been found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly before Ana\u2019s disappearance, Brian Walshe allegedly hired a private investigator because he suspected his wife was cheating. Their marriage was already in crisis due to his legal troubles unrelated to this case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walshe was at the time under house arrest, awaiting sentencing for selling forged Andy Warhol paintings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
