He knows how to inspire people with ideas, rally them around common values, and motivate them to achieve top results. This is a key leadership quality for continuing the successful course of the BMW Group in the current transformation,&#8221; Peter said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oliver Zipse&#8217;s term as Chairman of the Board was extended in 2023 beyond the usual age limit until 2026. After the General Meeting on May 13, 2026, Zipse will, according to plan, end his management career after a total of 35 years spent with the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peter emphasized the contribution of the previous Chairman of the Board on this occasion. &#8220;Oliver Zipse has done an extraordinary amount for the BMW Group, and we all owe him our gratitude for that. He led the company through global crises such as the coronavirus pandemic and strongly supported the Neue Klasse project, the company&#8217;s largest future project. His contract as Chairman of the Board is valid until 2031.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chairman of the BMW General Works Council and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Martin Kimmich, pointed out that Nedeljkovi\u0107 enjoys great trust among the employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Milan Nedeljkovi\u0107 has a strong reputation within the BMW working community.
