After the victory over Spain, Serbia\u2019s handball players played a draw with the Faroe Islands in Dortmund \u2013 31:31 (16:14), reaching five points in Group 2 at the World Championship, so everything still depends on Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another dramatic finish, a third saved seven-meter by Jovana Risovi\u0107, and the fantastic Jovana Skrobi\u0107 were the most deserving for what seemed like a secure two points. A big mistake was made by Jovana Jovovi\u0107 15 seconds before the end \u2014 instead of sealing the win, she hesitated, and the referees judged it as obstruction of play. A penalty followed, and Jana Mitun scored for the draw \u2013 31:31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team of Spanish expert Jose Ignacio Prades controlled the game for 45 minutes. Our captain, Katarina Krpe\u017e \u0160lezak, was firing on all cylinders, scoring five of our team\u2019s first 10 goals (without a miss, finishing the first half with six goals).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our selector frequently rotated the back line. Jovana Skrobi\u0107 had two shots from 10 meters in the opening moments of the match. Emilija Lazi\u0107 also scored, while An\u0111ela Janju\u0161evi\u0107 was excellent at right back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jana Mitun, sister of one of today\u2019s most talented handball players, Oli Mitun, caused us problems. Pernila Brandenborg was also excellent on the line. Serbia had a maximum lead of +3, once even the attack for +4, but Mitun was brilliant in one-on-one play and didn\u2019t allow us a bigger advantage after the first 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
