Reuters published a retrospective of the best photographs of 2025, and among them was a photograph taken during the tribute to the victims of the awning collapse in Novi Sad, at the large student protest in Kragujevac, on February 15.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The British news agency Reuters published a retrospective of the best photographs that marked 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One photograph from Serbia, taken during the student protest “Let’s meet on Sretenje” in Kragujevac, was among the 1.6 million photographs taken by 567 photojournalists from 150 countries around the world during the previous 12 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The moment during the tribute was recorded by the multi-award-winning photographer \u2013 Marko \u0110urica. The photo was taken with a drone, and during the silence, those present turned on the lights on their mobile phones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0110urica is a multi-award-winning Reuters photojournalist, and is considered one of the best documentary photographers from Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
