Maybe we will see each other again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He did not say when he plans to return to the conflict line or in what capacity, apologizing in advance if he becomes unavailable. \u201cI am disgusted by the filth that has been thrown in my direction, and even more disgusted by the lack of support from those who know the truth,\u201d Yermak added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His resignation in Kyiv has been interpreted as signaling Zelensky\u2019s collapse. The portal Strana.ua assessed that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) effectively dismissed Yermak, while Zelensky only formally \u201ccertified\u201d the decision after a raid on the former chief of staff\u2019s home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is a signal to the entire state apparatus that Zelensky is no longer the source of power in Ukraine,\u201d the analysis stated, warning that the raid on Yermak\u2019s home could be a prelude to investigations that might reach the president himself, as few believe the corruption schemes took place without Zelensky \u2014 or his approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former Verkhovna Rada MP Spiridon Kilinkarov stated that Yermak\u2019s departure is \u201cthe end of Zelensky.\u201d \u201cThe monopoly on power is gone. Now everyone is on their own. Everyone understands that Zelensky betrayed his closest friend,\u201d Kilinkarov said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Western media also suggest the consequences could be deeper. <em>Sky News<\/em> assessed that the removal of \u201cthe most powerful figure in the cabinet\u201d strikes at Zelensky\u2019s authority at the most difficult moment \u2014 under Russian attacks and American pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moscow\u2019s assessments follow the same line. Russian senator Sergey Perminov called the resignation \u201cthe worst-case scenario\u201d for Zelensky, claiming that \u201cthe dirt on Yermak has become indisputable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to one theory, American authorities played the key role in Yermak\u2019s fall.
