Due to a Ukrainian drone attack, a fire broke out at the Shatura State Power Plant located 130 km from the center of Moscow, the Interfax agency reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Early this morning, a drone attack was carried out on the Shatura State District Power Plant. Some of the drones were destroyed by air defense forces, and several parts fell onto the plant\u2019s territory. A fire broke out at the facility, which has been contained, and emergency services continue their work,” stated the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that the electricity supply to Moscow was not interrupted, as the system switched to backup lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the night of November 23, the Ukrainian military carried out an attack on the Shaturinskaya thermal power plant in the Moscow region, Russian Telegram channels also reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On social media, alleged footage appeared showing a massive explosion and fire at the power plant after the projectile hit the target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
