Masked robbers intercepted a special vehicle for transporting money last night and, according to initial estimates, took about two million euros of state money, sources close to the investigation confirmed to Sand\u017eak danas.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theft took place in Ku\u0107ani, on a regional road, where the attackers \u2013 according to initial information \u2013 forced the drivers to abandon the armored vehicle at gunpoint, after which they fled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly afterwards, the stolen vehicle was found burned in Jablanica, which leads investigators to suspect that it was a well-planned and professionally executed operation, aimed at destroying traces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police teams from Novi Pazar and Ra\u0161ka have been deployed in the field, carrying out an investigation, blocking the wider area, and controlling all exits from the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sources close to the investigation state that this is an organized criminal group that had precise information about the vehicle’s movement and the time of transport. For now, there is no information about possible injured security personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police have started reviewing surveillance cameras along the route, and are also checking whether the attack had inside help, writes Sand\u017eak danas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
