The investigations of the Prosecutor\u2019s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Milorad Dodik, Nenad Stevandi\u0107, and Radovan Vi\u0161kovi\u0107, accused of attacking the constitutional order, have been suspended, it was confirmed to RTRS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The order to suspend the investigation of Milorad Dodik, Radovan Vi\u0161kovi\u0107, and Nenad Stevandi\u0107 was issued on October 30 due to a lack of sufficient evidence that the suspects committed a criminal offense, the Prosecutor\u2019s Office of BiH told RTRS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The parties in the proceedings have been informed of the decision in accordance with the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Prosecutor\u2019s Office of BiH had previously launched an investigation against Milorad Dodik, Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandi\u0107, and former Prime Minister Radovan Vi\u0161kovi\u0107 after the National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted, on February 27, a law prohibiting the work of certain judicial and police institutions of BiH on the territory of Republika Srpska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This law stipulates that the laws on the Court of BiH, the Prosecutor\u2019s Office of BiH, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH shall not be applied or enforced on the territory of Republika Srpska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The National Assembly of Republika Srpska, on October 18, adopted the Law on the Termination of Validity of Laws, including the Law on Immovable Property Used for the Functioning of Public Authorities, the Law on Non-Application of Decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, the Election Law of Republika Srpska, the Law on Non-Application of Laws and Prohibition of the Activity of Unconstitutional Institutions of BiH, the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska, and the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Republika Srpska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
