Members of the police intervention unit, in full riot gear, intervened on Kneza Milo\u0161a Street near the Serbian Parliament where Dijana Hrka began a hunger strike today at 11:52 AM. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police pushed citizens who came to support Hrka off the roadway, arrested the bus carrier Milomir Ja\u0107imovi\u0107, and seized the bus<\/strong> he used to transport Ni\u0161 students from the commemorative gathering in Novi Sad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the students who are currently in the center of Belgrade, three of their colleagues\u2014Milan, David, and Irina\u2014were left inside the bus<\/strong> and, as they claim, were kidnapped<\/strong> by the police who drove away Ja\u0107imovi\u0107’s bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our colleagues were not allowed to leave the bus, and the vehicle was driven to the Belgrade Fire Brigade near the Theological Seminary (Bogoslovija<\/em>),” they told N1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Footage of the police intervention was published on social media by basketball player Vladimir \u0160timac and musician Milan Stankovi\u0107, better known as Sevdah Baby, who are currently with the citizens on Kneza Milo\u0161a Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
