The Serbian team of young informaticians won three medals, two silver and one bronze, as well as an honorable mention at the Junior Balkan Olympiad in Informatics in Larnaca, Cyprus.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silver medals were won by Lazar Niki\u0107, a student of the \u0160abac Grammar School, and Irina Stani\u0161i\u0107, a student of the First Kragujevac Grammar School, while the bronze medal was won by Veljko Vitkovac, a student of “Jovan Popovi\u0107” Elementary School in Kru\u0161evac, now a student of the Mathematical Grammar School, and the honorable mention was received by Mihajlo Jani\u010di\u0107, a student of “Starina Novak” Elementary School in Belgrade, now a student of the Mathematical Grammar School, according to the statement from the Society of Mathematicians of Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 37 competitors from nine Balkan countries participated in the competition, which began on October 24th and ends tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
