Student Inas Hod\u017ei\u0107 said at the welcome reception organized in Belgrade for him and his colleagues who walked for 13 days from Novi Pazar that he thinks this welcome is the most painful for the authorities. “In 13 days all prejudices were torn down, all stereotypes, all the seeds of hatred that had sprouted \u2013 those plants have been cut down and there is no more hatred! We are all united and in agreement,” he stated.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also emphasized that all his colleagues were left speechless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We could not have expected this. Never a bigger welcome and never fewer words. Thank you very much, people, you do not know what you have done for us,” he said, while the crowd responded with shouts of “Novi Pazar” and applause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We all know why we are here, what our role is in this fight. This whole fight is a need for justice and pain because of the injustice we suffer. That led us on this journey of about 400 kilometers. Many did not believe that we would manage to endure. We haven’t endured 400 yet, but ‘only’ 300. A multitude of kilometers, places, tears, and hugs are behind us. I am completely sure that something like this will not be repeated. We were led by the desire for justice, but out of all this, love, harmony, and unity were born,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
