\u201cUnfortunately, knowing the kind of society we live in, I partly counted on the fact that I would probably lose some roles and, in essence, become a subject of censorship,\u201d Mari\u0107 said in an interview for Nedeljnik<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He stated that \u201cit\u2019s true that there are \u2018blacklists\u2019 that people talk about timidly and rarely.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cUnfortunately, I don\u2019t have tangible proof, but within the acting community, we know very well that they exist, and they are not exclusively tied to the student protests. They actually began back in 2023, during the crackdown on actors involved in the play Serbia Against Violence<\/em>,\u201d Mari\u0107 explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to him, \u201cthat\u2019s when it all started, and today the model has only been perfected \u2014 now there are simply people who can\u2019t get roles.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThere are informants who report, social media accounts are monitored, what people post, where they\u2019ve been \u2014 all of it is collected and sent to the \u2018headquarters,\u2019 where a verdict is made. The sad part is that people from our own profession take part in this censorship process \u2014 some very actively, others pathetically, by agreeing to have their cast lists changed for projects,\u201d Mari\u0107 said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As he emphasized, \u201cthe earth has sworn to heaven that all secrets will be known.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNone of them will one day be able to say \u2014 I didn\u2019t know.
