The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in North Mitrovica has reclassified the act of attempted kidnapping to assault for two Albanians, suspected of attempting to kidnap a sixteen-year-old girl from Malo Zve\u010dane, and they have been released, Tanjug has learned. Sne\u017eana Stevanovi\u0107, the girl’s mother, told Kosovo online that the suspects for attempted kidnapping have been released and that a restraining order has been issued against them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“No one informed us that the act was reclassified, neither the police nor the prosecution. When I saw it in the media, I was in shock. I called the inspector whose number I saved when I was sending him the recordings of the event and the evidence. He told me that the case had been taken over by the prosecution and that they would inform us about everything, which has not happened so far. He confirmed to me that they are now only accused of assault, and not of attempted kidnapping, which is incomprehensible and terrifying to me,” Stevanovi\u0107 said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
