In just three days, the <strong>Serbian Film Festival 2025<\/strong> opens its doors in Washington, D.C., bringing a dynamic program of films, cultural events, and international artists to the capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the festival proudly welcomes three distinguished Serbian film artists:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sergej Trifunovi\u0107<\/strong> \u2013 Legendary actor and star of the film <em>Volja Sinovljeva<\/em> (The Son&#8217;s Will) (2025) <strong>Igor Ben\u010dina<\/strong> \u2013 Praised for powerful roles in <em>Volja Sinovljeva<\/em> and <em>Videoteka<\/em> (Videotheque) (2024) <strong>Luka Bursa\u0107<\/strong> \u2013 Promising director known for the films <em>Afterparty<\/em> (2017) and <em>Videoteka<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival opening begins on Friday, October 17th, at the <strong>AMC Georgetown<\/strong> cinema with a red carpet ceremony and a screening of the film <em>Volja Sinovljeva<\/em>, a bold post-apocalyptic drama starring Trifunovi\u0107 and Ben\u010dina.
