Nikola Kalini\u0107, the forward for Crvena Zvezda, spoke after the victory over \u017dalgiris in the 4th round of the EuroLeague (88:79) about a major problem he is currently facing on a private level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kalini\u0107 scored three points and had six rebounds, but his greatest contribution during the 27 minutes spent on the court was made in defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was truly excellent, almost perfect, in that segment and is one of the main reasons, with one steal and two blocks, for Zvezda’s victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the match, he felt the need to say something about his problem, and he did so very emotionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I would like to say one thing, to point out a problem that is happening to me. I haven’t seen my daughter for 20 days<\/strong> and I want to point out the problem when a parent misuses institutions, the police, the Center for Social Work, the kindergarten institution. And to call for this topic to start being discussed. It’s a horrible thing,” Kalini\u0107 said and continued:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I am lucky that I can say something publicly and in this way I want to point out a huge problem. All the people who are going through this are certainly not having an easy time. I want to show them support, to encourage them to remain disciplined and to remain positive. To endure all of it and not to do anything stupid. I love you,” Kalini\u0107 emotionally concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former Serbian national team player, together with the red and whites, will play against Real Madrid again in the Belgrade Arena in the 5th round of the EuroLeague (Friday, 7:00 PM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
