These are the first regular local elections after the extraordinary ones in 2023, which were held in the north of Kosovo and boycotted by Serbs, after they had previously left Kosovo institutions in 2022.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elections for mayors and councilors are being held in 38 municipalities, and 2,069,098 voters have the right to vote. There are 206 candidates competing for mayor, 20 of whom are women, and 5,420 candidates for municipal councilors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of 93 political subjects are on the ballot in these elections \u2013 32 parties, two coalitions, 32 civic initiatives, and 27 independent candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to data from the Central Election Commission, 2,069,098 voters have the right to vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/10\/Izbori-na-Kosovu1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-190132\" srcset=\"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/10\/Izbori-na-Kosovu1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/10\/Izbori-na-Kosovu1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/10\/Izbori-na-Kosovu1-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/10\/Izbori-na-Kosovu1-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/10\/Izbori-na-Kosovu1-800x600.jpg 800w, https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/10\/Izbori-na-Kosovu1-1568x1176.jpg 1568w, https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/10\/Izbori-na-Kosovu1-1200x900.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/10\/Izbori-na-Kosovu1.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preliminary: Srpska lista leads in all majority-Serb municipalities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Srpska lista, according to current vote counting results, is leading in the number of votes in all 10 municipalities in Kosovo where Serbs constitute the majority of the population, KoSSev writes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They have over 50 percent of the votes in Leposavi\u0107, Zubin Potok, Zve\u010dan, North Mitrovica, Novo Brdo, \u0160trpce, Gra\u010danica, Ranilug, Parte\u0161, and slightly less in Klokot so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Leposavi\u0107, 28 percent of the votes were counted by 10 p.m., according to which Zoran Todi\u0107 leads with as much as 70.30 percent of the votes won. Following him is Vladimir Radosavljevi\u0107 from Serbian Democracy, with 11.64 percent of the votes won.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Zubin Potok, with 81.37 votes, also by 10 p.m. and 66.67 percent of the votes counted, Milo\u0161 Perovi\u0107 is leading. Milija Bi\u0161evac is right after him with 6.35 percent of the votes won.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to Zve\u010dan, where 90.91 percent of the votes have already been counted, Dragi\u0161a Milovi\u0107 is leading with 86.66 percent. Right behind him, with 8.74 percent, is Zoran Obrenovi\u0107 from Serbian Democracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In North Mitrovica, 45.45 percent of the votes were counted, and in that municipality Milan Radojevi\u0107 is leading with a total of 58.06 percent of the votes won. The second is Erden Atiq from the Self-Determination Movement with 12.93 percent of the votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the municipality of Novo Brdo, 82.61 percent were counted by 10 p.m. Sa\u0161a Milo\u0161evi\u0107 is leading with 55.59 percent of the votes. Right behind him is Bajru\u0161 Imeri from LDK, with almost twice as few votes (25.63%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the municipality of \u0160trpce, Ivica Tanasijevi\u0107 won 66.41 percent of the votes, and 88.64 percent of the votes have already been counted there. In second place is Stefan Stamenkovi\u0107 from Justice and Equality, with 9.68 percent of the votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Gra\u010danica, Novak \u017divi\u0107 is convincingly leading with 59.32 percent of the votes. 79.41 percent of the votes have already been counted in this municipality. Right behind him is Ljeutrim Ajeti who is, let us remember, from the Albanian Alliance, i.e. three united Albanian parties. He won 28.47 percent of the votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Ranilug, Tanja Anti\u0107 is convincingly leading, with 74.03 percent, and 50 percent of the votes have been processed so far. In second place is Ivan Petrovi\u0107 from the Serbian People&#8217;s Movement with 15.95 percent of the votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Parte\u0161, Dragan Petkovi\u0107 has won 90.50 percent of the votes so far. 85.71 percent of the votes were counted there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to Klokot, Bo\u017eidar Dejanovi\u0107 is currently leading there \u2013 43.26 percent, with 87.50 percent of the votes processed.
