A man weighing 272 kilograms was rescued from his home in Florida using a crane and a transport shipping pallet, and the unusual footage has drawn attention on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unnamed man was brought to safety after suffering a \u201csudden medical emergency\u201d on Tuesday in West Palm Beach, reports the Daily Mail<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He couldn\u2019t go down the stairs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

He was unable to go down the stairs or exit through the door due to his size and health complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, rescuers used a crane and a truck to lift him out of the house and transport him to the hospital, as shown in the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rescuers also had to cut out part of the apartment wall, along with several sections of the balcony railing. Firefighters carefully secured the patient to a sturdy pallet padded with cushions before lowering him six meters to the ground, where an ambulance was waiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
