Students of the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade won one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals at the 32nd Balkan Olympiad in Informatics held in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The gold medal was won by Petar Banovi\u0107, the silver by Uro\u0161 Kostadinovi\u0107, and the bronze by Stefan \u0160ebez and Sofija \u010ceba\u0161ek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team leader was Toni \u0160krijelj from the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad, while the deputy leader was Milo\u0161 Milutinovi\u0107 from the Faculty of Computer Science and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the Balkan Olympiad in Udine, 48 competitors from 12 countries took part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The selection of competitors, preparations, and participation in the competition were organized by the Mathematical Society of Serbia, with the support of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur team prepared intensively during this year\u2019s competition cycle, participating in a preparatory camp in Zagreb and in preparatory competitions such as the Central European Olympiad in Informatics (CEOI), held in Romania, which resulted in one of the best achievements at the Balkan Olympiad,\u201d the Mathematical Society of Serbia said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
