The Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) submitted a new request to the US Department of the Treasury on September 28 for the issuance of a special license that postpones the full implementation of sanctions and enables the unimpeded performance of the company’s operational activities, NIS announced.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NIS also submitted an amendment to the request for removal from the SDN (Specially Designated Nationals) list, the statement said, adding that this is a long-term and complex process, and that the initial request was sent on March 14 of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The start of the application of sanctions against NIS has been postponed until October 8-9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
