This practically means that the private security hired by the SNS government in the City Assembly has greater authority than the police.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session of the Zaje\u010dar City Assembly held on Wednesday ended with a series of incidents, including the use of a smoke bomb and pepper spray, while the private security in the assembly hall assaulted councilors, and at the entrance prevented the entry of National Assembly members, Miroslav Aleksi\u0107, President of the People&#8217;s Movement of Serbia, and Milo\u0161 Parandilovi\u0107, President of the New Face of Serbia party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the session ended, Aleksi\u0107 described the situation as a complete breakdown of the rule of law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;So, we, as members of the National Assembly, called the police to enable us to enter the hall as citizens and as members of the National Assembly. We experienced a police officer saying, &#8216;we can&#8217;t tell them anything, they are in charge here in the building of the SO of the city of Zaje\u010dar.&#8217; The court said that the Assembly is illegal, it annulled the verification of mandates. Therefore, an interim administration should have been introduced, and then new elections called. However, government representatives ignored that decision, claiming they have the majority and will continue working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At yesterday&#8217;s session of the Zaje\u010dar Municipal Assembly, the situation escalated into a series of incidents.
