At the \u201cUnited Nations\u201d Elementary School in the Belgrade neighborhood of Cerak Vinogradi today around 2:00 p.m., a fence fell on a first-grade student. Unofficially, it was a girl, and regarding the incident, the school\u2019s principal, Vensa Radovanovi\u0107 Penevski, spoke to \u201cBlic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the principal of the \u201cUnited Nations\u201d Elementary School told \u201cBlic,\u201d today, shortly before the start of the first class in the afternoon shift, around 2:00 p.m., a child, a first-grade student of the \u201cUnited Nations\u201d Elementary School, was injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe mother brought the child to the schoolyard, sat in the car, when the fence fell from the outer side of the yard and injured the child. The mother immediately took the child to the University Children\u2019s Clinic in Tir\u0161ova for an examination, and the child is conscious. We are waiting for further information from the parents. The circumstances that led to the child\u2019s injury will be determined later, about which you will be duly informed,\u201d emphasized principal Vensa Radovanovi\u0107 Penevski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fence that fell on the children is lying down at the back entrance to the schoolyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As \u201cBlic\u2019s\u201d reporter found out, at 1:50 p.m. the school janitor unlocked the gate so that the students could enter the yard, and thus the school, after which the fence soon fell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI really don\u2019t know the details, I unlocked the gate around ten to two so the students could come in. Then I went upstairs with the children to the daycare. As far as I know, the gate fell after two o\u2019clock. I really don\u2019t know the details,\u201d the janitor told \u201cBlic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
