The FBI has issued a statement along with photos of a person suspected of assassinating Charlie Kirk.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are seeking the public’s help in identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University,” the statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The photos show a person wearing a cap, sunglasses and a long-sleeved black shirt\/sweater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FBI’s Salt Lake City office today posted photos of the person of interest on the X network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The office provided a phone number through which the public can provide information: 1-800-CALL-FBI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A search is underway for the person who killed prominent conservative political activist Charlie Kirk. State and federal officials say they have tracked the attacker’s movements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities believe they found the firearm with which Kirk was shot on a nearby roof. Sources state that a series of phrases related to cultural issues were written on the rifle and ammunition, but it is not yet clear whether they indicate a motive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attacker is a man and “appears to be of student age,” the investigators said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
