Milena Orubovi\u0107 \u0110uki\u0107<\/strong> from Kosjeri\u0107, who was released from custody after previously being detained with six other people from Kosjeri\u0107, said that “everything can be seen and proven” and that she “is not physically or in any other way violent,” as is being alleged against her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a reminder, seven people from Kosjeri\u0107 were previously detained and are charged with the criminal offense of assaulting an official in the performance of official duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In one way, it was expected, because we have seen this government’s showdowns with everyone who has in some way spoken out, whether through institutions, like the director of the SAJ<\/strong>, or through the arrests of us, activists. I have been on the streets for years and have no problem speaking out, but one thing is certain\u2014I am not physically or in any way violent\u2014which is what I am being accused of, just like the six others who were also detained,” she stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
