US President Donald Trump stated that certain European leaders will visit the United States today and tomorrow to discuss ways to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to reporters upon his return from the US Open tennis tournament in New York, Trump also announced that he will soon have a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Certain European leaders are coming to our country individually,” the US leader added, without specifying who they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The White House has not yet provided more details on Trump’s statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Journalists also asked him about yesterday’s massive Russian air attack that damaged a government building in Kyiv, to which Trump responded that he “is not happy about the situation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, he reiterated his belief that the conflict will soon be ended. “The Russia-Ukraine situation, we will solve that,” the US president emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
