The major protest “Serbia, Can You Hear Us?<\/strong>” is being held this evening in Novi Sad, with support rallies scheduled in several other cities across Serbia. The gathering in Novi Sad began at 7 PM at the intersection of Stra\u017eilovska Street and Bulevar Cara Lazara. Strong police forces and first aid stations have been deployed on the campus of the University of Novi Sad. Several thousand people have arrived in the protest zone, while large columns had started from other parts of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason for the protest, which was called by the students in blockade, is, as they state, the violation of the University’s autonomy and the presence of police in the buildings of the Faculty of Philosophy<\/strong> and the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education<\/strong>. Students and professors will speak at the protest, and it has been announced that the anthem will also be played.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
