The Serbian basketball players defeated Latvia with a score of 84:80 in the third-round match of Group A of the European Championship.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best individual of the match was the center of Serbia, Nikola Joki\u0107. The Denver Nuggets ace finished the match with a double-double performance: 39 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-time NBA league MVP prevented the comeback of the Latvians, who were on a roll, with his shots in the finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The host of Group A came within two points after a three-pointer by Kurucs one minute before the end, after which Joki\u0107 hit both free throws and secured a four-point advantage for Serbia before the last attacks in the match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
