The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has decided to call early presidential elections in Republika Srpska for November 23.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Central Election Commission of B&H, with two votes against, has called early elections for the president of Republika Srpska for November 23 of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The C.E.C. of B&H made the decision to call early elections for the president of Republika Srpska despite the fact that the process against Dodik has not reached its executive phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Central Election Commission of B&H made this decision after previously revoking Dodik’s mandate based on the final judgment of the Appellate Panel of the Court of B&H, by which the president of Republika Srpska was sentenced to one year in prison and a six-year ban on engaging in political activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dodik was convicted for disrespecting the decisions of the illegitimate High Representative in B&H, Christian Schmidt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials of Republika Srpska do not recognize the decision to revoke President Dodik’s mandate, and the National Assembly of Republika Srpska has, in the meantime, called a referendum on which the people will vote on the actions of the Court of B&H towards Dodik on October 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
