Students in the blockade of the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad said last night that the dean of that faculty, Milivoje Alanovi\u0107, is directly responsible for the conflict between the police and students and citizens.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Milivoje Alanovi\u0107, who did not want to withdraw the police and allow the students to enter the faculty, is directly responsible for the conflict between students and citizens with the police,” the students said in a statement on social networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Sound cannon and tear gas on students and their colleagues. Milivoje Alanovi\u0107, is this your dialogue? Do you have any dignity,” the students wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong cordons of police and gendarmerie pushed citizens away from the entrance to the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad to a nearby parking lot, which is 50 meters from the building entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cordons number several hundred police officers and gendarmes in full riot gear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police and gendarmerie forces beat citizens tonight in front of the Faculty of Philosophy building in Novi Sad, and during the intervention, they beat the demonstrators and sprayed pepper spray in their eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tonight around 10:20 p.m., a pushing match began between the citizens and the police cordon that was standing in front of the entrance to the Faculty of Philosophy and was not allowing students and professors to enter the faculty building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
