The MP of the Vet\u00ebvendosje movement, Dimalj Ba\u0161a, is the new president of the Kosovo assembly, KoSSev reports.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was elected today with 73 votes “for.” Thirty MPs were against, KoSSev writes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PDK also voted for him today, which had practically announced in advance today that it would vote for this Vet\u00ebvendosje candidate, although it does not consider him competent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ba\u0161a is the fourth proposed candidate of Vet\u00ebvendosje for the president of the assembly, after Aljbuljena Had\u017eiu, Donika Gervalla, and Hekuran Murati did not receive support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president of the Kosovo assembly was elected today, at the total 57th constitutive session, more than six months after the general elections and a months-long institutional crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the election of the vice-presidents as well, the new convocation of the assembly will be constituted, seven months after the elections on February 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
