The most cheerful village in Serbia this weekend is certainly Pranjani at the foot of Suvobor, where the seventh annual Violinists’ Festival is being held. Guests from all parts of our country, as well as from abroad, have arrived in this small but beautiful place, and the accommodation facilities have been occupied for a long time. Guests from far-off Mexico, members of the Vidanza folklore ensemble, have even arrived on the slopes of Suvobor, and they are enjoying the Serbian hospitality and the sounds of the violin that touch the heart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guests from far-off Mexico brought joy, rhythm, and smiles. Their repertoire, regardless of all cultural and other differences, exudes a temperament that is very appealing to our people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Everything is great, the violins really sound unreal. It’s that real music for the heart and soul, as the locals here like to say. The village is beautiful, the people are wonderful. This is truly a wonderful experience for us,” one of the Mexicans told RUNA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the way, the Vidanza folklore ensemble was founded in September 2012 under the leadership of Jessica Navarro in C\u00f3rdoba, Veracruz, with dancers from the central region of the High Mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ensemble consists of three sections: the children’s, preparatory, and representative groups. Their repertoire showcases folklore from different states of Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alternative folklore is the style that Vidanza has adopted in its work. They have shown their artistic quality on the most important stages of the region and in other Mexican states, such as Michoac\u00e1n, Oaxaca, Mexico City, Estado de Mexico, Tlaxcala, Sinaloa, Puebla, Baja California Sur, and Hidalgo, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, they participated in International Folklore Festivals in Colombia, Bulgaria, Italy, Costa Rica, Peru, Panama, Ecuador, and Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
