Russia’s Ambassador to Serbia, Aleksandar Bocan-Harchenko, assessed relations between Serbia and Russia as “generally positive,” but also said there were worrying things, mentioning the situation around Serbian ammunition that was reaching Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Belgrade has not joined the illegitimate measures of the European Union and has no intention of doing so. We continue our cooperation, which, however, is not proceeding at the same speed as before, because most of the countries surrounding Serbia are anti-Russian. In this sense, the sanctions create a logistical obstacle,” Harchenko said in an interview with the newspaper Politika, adding that, despite this, the two countries are working on an economic level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
