The start of the Eurobasket is getting closer, and FIBA has published an updated list of the main favorites to win the title.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Serbian basketball team takes the first place, while Germany has advanced from the third to the second position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This shift shows that the “Panzers” are ready to seriously compete for medals, but the “Eagles” are still considered the main candidates for gold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A similar attitude is shared by the world’s leading bookmakers, who single out the “Eagles” as the main favorites with very tempting odds for winning the championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Germany is in second place, while France is in third, which confirms their constant strength and tradition in major competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are followed by Greece, Spain and Slovenia, teams that also have the quality to create surprises and threaten the favorites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The European Championship will be held from August 27 to September 14, and Serbia is placed in group A, which will play its matches in Riga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In that group, besides Serbia, there are also the national teams of Portugal, Estonia, Latvia, Turkey, and the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a challenging group in which every match will be important for advancing to the knockout phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serbia enters the championship with ambitions to confirm the status of one of the best European teams and to reach for a medal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coaches and players announce a serious approach and maximum dedication to every match, while fans across the country are following the preparations with great impatience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
