Unknown attackers threw unidentified explosive devices last night at the house of Lazar Geratovi\u0107, whom the Valjevo Court released yesterday to defend himself at large, after he was arrested as a suspect following an incident in front of the Serbian Progressive Party premises in Valjevo, \u0160aba\u010dke novosti writes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to \u0160aba\u010dke novosti, Lazar stayed with friends in the city last night after a welcome reception organized by the people of \u0160abac, so he was not at home at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aleksandar Geratovi\u0107, Lazar’s father, was at home and went out into the yard at the moment the attack occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I was at home, I was expecting my son who had been arrested to come with friends, and I heard a car stop in front of the yard. I thought they had arrived and started to go outside; at the small gate, I saw one man. Something lit up very brightly, and he threw it into the yard. At that moment, there were two or three explosions, the whole house and yard were filled with smoke, I felt a strong smell of gunpowder, it got into my eyes, into my nose. Outside, I saw a white or gray Golf parked, I’m not sure, I ran after it, but I couldn’t see the license plates, the car had already turned right near the school, towards \u0160abac,” explained Aleksandar Geratovi\u0107, Lazar’s father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Geratovi\u0107 emphasizes that this attack did not scare him or his family, and that he will continue his participation in the protests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Honestly, I don’t know if they are normal at all, if they can think that anything can intimidate us. Let them stop throwing imprecise devices; if they think we are a danger to the state, that is, to that fascist occupation regime, that interested mafia group, they can freely target us with more precise weapons, because we will not stop no matter what bomb they throw. We can only pump harder and harder, and every day we will pump harder and harder,” said Aleksandar Geratovi\u0107 in a video address on his Facebook profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
