Police and the management of the Student Cultural Center (SKC)<\/strong> stormed the SKC building at Kralja Milana 48 this morning, announced the blockaded SKC today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students who were inside were evicted, with the “wholehearted cheering and gloating of acting director Slavoljub Veselinovi\u0107<\/strong>,” who is stated to be a cadre of the Socialist Party of Serbia, according to the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We remind you that acting director Slavoljub Veselinovi\u0107 has kept this institution captive and inactive for a continuous 15 years, and has spent a total of 30 years as director,” it adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students had been in the SKC building since February 12, when they put forth the demand: “Student spaces for students.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
