Police in Kraljevo have arrested M.M. (28) from Novi Sad, on suspicion of planning an assassination in that city, “Novosti” reports.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was handcuffed after security at a pool in Kraljevo noticed a man with a balaclava and a pistol<\/strong> and immediately informed the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“He was arrested while trying to escape on a motorcycle from the police, who arrived at lightning speed. While attempting to flee, he fell off his motorcycle,” a “Novosti” source states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to this media outlet, the motorcycle used by the suspect in the attempted murder had previously been stolen in Belgrade<\/strong> and bore fake license plates. Police officers<\/strong> seized a pistol and an encrypted phone. He also had a bag with a change of clothes. The target of the arrested individual at the pool is still being determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“He had a bullet in the chamber, and he also carried a bag with spare clothes, which he probably planned to put on after committing the crime,” states the “Novosti” source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrested individual is already known to the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to media reports, in 2024, he was arrested in Novi Sad in a hostel with a firearm. This year, he is suspected of throwing a Molotov cocktail at Kristina Kon\u010dar’s house and, according to operational information, is linked to the Kava\u010d clan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
