Doctors and nurses from the Health Center in \u010ca\u010dak were informed today that they should begin shifts outside the Munjino Brdo tunnel<\/strong> on the new section of the Pakovra\u0107e \u2013 Po\u017eega highway, Beta news agency unofficially reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For these tunnel shifts, which are currently on a voluntary basis, three nurses have signed up, but no doctors have yet volunteered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unapproved Section Raises Safety Concerns<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Doctors and nurses on tunnel duty will receive daily allowances, but the exact amount for doctors has not yet been communicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to unofficial information, in addition to medical professionals from \u010ca\u010dak, teams from the U\u017eice Health Center<\/strong> will also be on duty along the new highway section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Serbian government recently adopted a decree that, according to some interpretations, suspends the Rulebook on Tunnel Safety<\/strong>, with the obligation to ensure 24-hour duty for emergency services, firefighters, police, and emergency medical assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
