U.S. President Donald Trump<\/strong> clarified overnight that he does not, in fact, want Ukraine to target Moscow, denying earlier reports from American media that he had told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this during a July 4 meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“No, no, Ukraine should not target Moscow,” Trump stated, and reminded Russian President Vladimir Putin<\/strong> of a 50-day deadline<\/strong> for reaching a peace agreement regarding Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I don’t think that’s a long period of time,” he warned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Options if Ultimatum Not Met<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When asked what options he expects to have if Russia does not respond to the ultimatum, he said: “Many opinions change quickly. Maybe it won’t be 50 days, maybe it will be much sooner.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump also confirmed that the first deliveries of Patriot systems<\/strong> for Ukraine, via Germany, are “already in transport.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russian Attacks Continue<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

However, Russia appears undeterred by this, as the Ukrainian Air Force reported this morning that 400 drones and one ballistic missile<\/strong> were launched, primarily targeting three cities: Kharkiv, Zelensky’s hometown Kryvyi Rih, and Vinnytsia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At least two people have died<\/strong>, and at least 12 have been injured<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
