Former governor of the American federal state of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, who is staying in Banja Luka at the invitation of the president of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, first addressed journalists in Serbian, stating that his name is also Milorad.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“My name is Milorad. I speak a little, but I understand everything,” Blagojevich said at the beginning of the press conference after talks with the president of the Republic of Srpska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, he says, it’s much easier for him to speak English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rod Blagojevich, a close associate and friend of Donald Trump, will be the new ambassador of the United States of America to Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rod Blagojevich was born in Chicago in 1956. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1979 and completed law school at Pepperdine University in 1983. Between 2003 and 2009, he served as the governor of Illinois. Before that, he was a representative from Chicago in the U.S. Congress. He is the second governor of a U.S. federal state of Serbian origin (the first was George Voinovich from Ohio).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
