The humanitarian ultra-triathlon initiated by two great athletes, Marko Nikoli\u0107 and Bal\u0161a Zaji\u0107, about which Serbian Times wrote, and during which they covered 2,450 kilometers by cycling, rowing, and running, has achieved its goal \u2013 the Ni\u0161 Clinical Center will soon receive an apparatus for treating children suffering from cancer!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, Marko Nikoli\u0107<\/strong> contacted the editorial office of Serbian Times:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“With great pleasure, we want to share wonderful news with you. Thanks to your incredible support and solidarity, the apparatus for treating children with cancer has finally arrived in Ni\u0161! This apparatus is the result of our joint action, during which my friend Bal\u0161a and I covered a total of 2450 kilometers through Serbia and Montenegro, cycling, rowing, and running,” states Nikoli\u0107, who is the president of the humanitarian foundation “Zajedno mo\u017eemo” (Together We Can), and has distinguished himself multiple times with his humanitarian endeavors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sports feat to help sick children: Marko Nikoli\u0107 and Bal\u0161a Zaji\u0107<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We remind you that this year Nikoli\u0107 collected and paid 2 million dinars for the treatment of a boy named Sergej Vavre, a total of over 200,000 euros for the treatment of children and adults in Serbia. He is currently building 5 houses for 5 endangered families, and among other things, he has built wells in Africa and fed over 400 hungry children. He has provided for over 25 families in less than a year, and he is the recipient of several awards, including Hero of the Year and Most Noble Feat of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He, however, wishes to share the credit for this latest endeavor with others:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“First of all, Bal\u0161a and I want to express our gratitude to NURDOR and all the good people who, with their contributions, made it possible to collect money for this anesthesia apparatus.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday, Marko<\/strong> Nikoli\u0107 <\/strong>and the president of NURDOR, Jolanda<\/strong> Korora<\/strong>, will present this apparatus to the Ni\u0161 Clinical Center. Half of the funds were collected by Marko and Bal\u0161a through their ultra-triathlon, and the other half was provided by NURDOR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Thank you for being a part of this wonderful story!” concludes Marko Nikoli\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
