Today, construction officially commenced on the luxurious hotel and residential complex, Porta Rai Beachfront Hotel & Residences<\/strong>, located on the Adriatic’s longest sandy beach \u2013 Velika Pla\u017ea in Ulcinj.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind this prestigious project are two international groups \u2013 Karisma Hotels & Resorts<\/strong> and Dobrov & Family Group<\/strong> \u2013 who are investing 170 million euros in direct investments, while the project’s total economic impact is estimated at an impressive 278 million euros over the next ten years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first phase will involve the construction of a portion of the hotel facilities, residential units, and supporting infrastructure. The completion of the entire construction is planned for 2029<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Porta Rai will be the first 5-star hotel and residential complex on Velika Pla\u017ea. Our guests will enjoy complete hotel service, a state-of-the-art spa center, numerous restaurants and bars, sports courts, and extensive facilities for children,” stated Nemanja Kosti\u0107, Director of Karisma Hotels & Resorts for Europe and the Middle East<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project also brings a significant contribution to the Montenegrin economy \u2013 creating 800 new jobs<\/strong>, primarily for the local population, along with the engagement of domestic construction companies and suppliers. In previous Karisma projects in Montenegro, over 90% of contractors were local partners, and the same practice will be applied here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Porta Rai complex will be a world of luxury and peace \u2013 featuring elegant residences, restaurants, a spa & wellness center, seven swimming pools, sports courts, facilities for children, and an exclusive shopping promenade. Special attention has been paid to preserving the natural environment and the authenticity of Velika Pla\u017ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this project, Ulcinj is positioning itself as a new address for luxury tourism in the Mediterranean, while Montenegro once again confirms its status as an attractive and responsible investment destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
